HDFC ERGO Implements Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for Rabi Season 2026 in Madhya Pradesh

Indore: HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company, one of India's leading private sector general insurance companies, has been authorized by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to implement the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for the Rabi Season 2026. The scheme will cover both loanee and non-loanee farmers in the districts of Alirajpur, Barwani, Burhanpur, Dhar, Jhabua, Khandwa (East Nimar), and Khargone. Under the scheme, insurance coverage will be provided for the crops notified by the State Government in these districts. Farmers will be required to pay only the prescribed share of the premium, while the remaining premium will be subsidized under the PMFBY.
