

Pimpri Chinchwad/Nashik. (SDNA) Senior Hindi, Marathi and Ahirani language litterateur Prof. Sanjay Pawar was honored with the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award and an Honorary Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) Degree from an International University at a grand ceremony held in Nashik for his remarkable contributions in the fields of literature, education and social service.
The Indian unit chairman of the International University Federation, Dr. Sachchidanand Shandilya, presented the certificate of the honorary doctorate degree to Prof. Sanjay Pawar. The certificate and trophy of the Bharat Gaurav Award were presented by Shri Mahant Siddheshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Trimbakeshwar.
The felicitation ceremony was organized at the auditorium of Hotel Royal Heritage, Nashik, under the chairmanship of Dr. Ajit Bagmar, State Unit President of the International Honorary Doctorate Federation. The event was graced by Jagadguru Dwaracharya Dr. Ramkrishnadas Maharaj Lahavitkar, Mahamandaleshwar Pujamai Nandgiri, founder of Trimbakeshwar Kinnar Akhara, along with several eminent saints and distinguished guests.
During the ceremony, talented individuals from various states who have made significant and original contributions in their respective fields were also honored with awards including Doctor of Literature, Maharashtra Gaurav, Bharat Gaurav and Vishva Gaurav Awards.
Prof. Sanjay Pawar has made a significant contribution to literature writing in Hindi, Marathi and Ahirani languages. Several of his books have been published nationally and internationally. Some of his literary works have also been included in university curricula. For his contribution to literature and social service, he has received numerous honors in India and abroad.
On this occasion, Dr. Sachchidanand Shandilya highlighted the importance of honorary doctorate degrees and said that it is essential to recognize scholars and service-oriented individuals who make original contributions in various fields. He stated that although an honorary degree is not a formal academic qualification, the selection and recognition of deserving individuals serve as an inspiration for society.
During the program, Mahamandaleshwar Pujamai Nandgiri, Dr. Ramkrishnadas Maharaj, Mahant Siddheshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and Dr. Ajit Bagmar also expressed their views.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Viranjay Pawar, Shashikant Nikumbh, Dr. Jaspal Singh Valvi, media representatives, and a large number of literature enthusiasts.
