(SDNA) Marking the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, one of Maharashtra’s most significant cultural and spiritual festivals, Tryambakraj Paralysis Centre carried out a heartfelt social service initiative by visiting the Adhartirth Ashram, which cares for the children of farmers who died by suicide, and distributing traditional fasting meals (Faral).
The humanitarian initiative was led by Dr. Ashish Thakare, Dr. Sandesh Kathe, Akshay Chandane, Rishikesh Thorat, Rishikesh Lokhande, Kartik Nerkar, Abhijit Gawali, along with the entire team of Tryambakraj Paralysis Centre. The team interacted with the children, conveyed Ashadhi Ekadashi greetings, and shared a message of compassion and hope.
Carrying the inspiring message, “We are Pilgrims of Health; Humanity is Our Pandharpur,” the team emphasized that serving the underprivileged and supporting vulnerable sections of society is the highest form of humanity. They highlighted that healthcare professionals also have a social responsibility to contribute to the welfare of society beyond medical services.
During the visit, traditional fasting meals were distributed among the children, bringing smiles to their faces and making the festival a memorable occasion for them. The initiative was widely appreciated by those present, who described it as an exemplary act of compassion and social commitment that reflects the true spirit of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
