

Indore: In the sacred presence of Jain Sadhvi Anushthan Aradhika Jyotish Chandrika Mahasati Dr. Kumud Lata Ji M.S., renowned Indian cricket commentator and Padma Shri awardee Sushil Doshi was honoured by the Swarnim Book of Records with the Certificate of Record Achievement in recognition of his historic contribution.
The honour was conferred upon him for being one of India’s first Hindi cricket commentators and for elevating the Hindi language to national and international prominence through his remarkable commentary over several decades in Cricket World Cups, Test Matches, One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20 International tournaments.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Achal Chaudhary, Ramesh Bhandari, Devish Jain, Dipin Jain, Virendra Kumar Jain, Prakash Bhatewara, Jineshwar Jain, Hemant Bohra, and Vivek Jain, who presented the Certificate of Honour to Padma Shri Sushil Doshi and congratulated him on his exceptional achievements.
On the occasion, Sadhvi Dr. Kumud Lata Ji Maharaj stated that Sushil Doshi, through his distinctive voice, effortless style, and outstanding presentation, gave Hindi cricket commentary a unique identity and enabled millions of cricket lovers to experience the excitement of the game in Hindi. She added that his remarkable contribution would continue to inspire future generations.
Virendra Kumar Jain, Founder of the Swarnim Book of Records, said that the honour is presented to individuals who have achieved extraordinary and historic milestones in their respective fields, bringing pride to society and the nation. He emphasized that Padma Shri Sushil Doshi’s contribution to Indian sports journalism and the history of Hindi cricket commentary will always be remembered in golden letters.
