

Vidisha, July 21 (Sadvarta): Superintendent of Police Rohit Kashwani heard more than 20 public grievances during the weekly public hearing held at the Superintendent of Police Office in Vidisha on Monday, July 21, 2026. Complaints submitted by applicants from different parts of the district were heard with seriousness, sensitivity, and priority.
Taking immediate cognizance of each application, the SP directed the concerned Station House Officers (SHOs), branch heads, and other officials to ensure fair, effective, and time-bound action on every complaint.
The grievances included family disputes, land-related matters, assault cases, interpersonal conflicts, and other issues. Complaints that could be resolved on the spot were addressed immediately, while cases requiring detailed investigation were referred to the concerned officials with instructions to complete the inquiry within the stipulated time and submit their reports promptly.
SP Rohit Kashwani instructed all officers to treat every complainant with sensitivity, respect, and transparency while ensuring impartial, high-quality, and timely resolution of all grievances. He stated that the weekly public hearing serves as an effective platform for strengthening trust between the police and the public, and that prompt resolution of complaints further enhances citizens’ confidence in the police administration.
He reiterated that the Vidisha Police remains committed to citizen-friendly, accountable, and transparent policing under its motto of “Safety, Service, and Trust.”
