Shri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti Conducts Tree Plantation Drive at 32nd Battalion

Ujjain, July 21 (Sadvarta): Members of the Shri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, Ujjain organized a tree plantation drive at the 32nd Battalion premises as part of the ongoing Shri Sathya Sai Prem Taru Campaign, promoting environmental conservation and selfless service.

The programme was inaugurated with the planting of saplings by Deepak Kumar Shukla and Pushpendra Athiya of the 32nd Battalion. On the occasion, Samiti Convenor Sharad Singh Chauhan said the plantation drive was inspired by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba“Love All, Serve All”—and his message of protecting all living beings. Seva Dal volunteers and battalion personnel jointly planted a large number of saplings to spread these values.

He informed that the Shri Sathya Sai Prem Taru Campaign will be observed across the country on August 9, 2026, with large-scale tree plantation programmes. The campaign aims to promote environmental protection while encouraging the values of love, service, and responsibility toward nature.

The programme was attended by Sanjay Tiwari, District President Jitendra Thakur, Prem Shankar, Dilip Gehlot, Shreeji Bakhtaria, Pankaj Goyal, Anil Sharma, Mrs. Rajni, Mrs. Jhalani, Mrs. Gayatri Jaiswal, along with several other office-bearers, Seva Dal members, and distinguished guests.
