Indore, July 25: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that farmers’ welfare remains the highest priority of the Madhya Pradesh Government. Addressing the Balram Krishi Mahotsav in Khargone virtually from Datia, he said that several farmer-centric initiatives are being implemented under Farmer Welfare Year 2026.
The Chief Minister announced that Balram Krishi Mahotsavs will be organized across all districts of the state until November 13, promoting modern farming techniques, agricultural innovation, and farmer welfare. He highlighted the government’s efforts to expand irrigation facilities, ensure adequate electricity supply, and distribute helmets to farmers who travel to markets on two-wheelers carrying milk and vegetables, calling it an innovative step toward road safety.
Dr. Yadav encouraged farmers to adopt advanced agricultural practices to increase productivity and income, adding that 16 government departments are working together to implement a comprehensive roadmap for enhancing farmers’ earnings.
