BJYM Conducts Cleanliness Drive and Pays Tribute on Chandrashekhar Azad Jayanti

Ujjain: On the birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Ujjain City District, organized a cleanliness drive and tribute ceremony under its “Azad Prerna Parv” campaign. The event was held at Chandrashekhar Azad Garden near Do Talab, Mahakal Sindhi Colony, Ujjain.

The program commenced with floral tributes and garlanding of the statue of Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad. BJYM members then carried out a cleanliness drive across the park, collecting garbage, clearing bushes, and pledging to maintain the premises in a clean and beautiful condition. The initiative also aimed to inspire young people with the values of cleanliness, patriotism, and social responsibility.

Addressing the gathering, Ujjain Municipal Corporation Chairperson Mrs. Kalavati Yadav said that Chandrashekhar Azad dedicated his life to India’s freedom and that the true tribute to the great revolutionary lies in following his ideals. She urged the youth to stay away from substance abuse and actively participate in nation-building and community service.

BJP Ujjain City President Sanjay Agrawal said that “Azad Prerna Parv” serves as a reminder of the values of sacrifice, patriotism, and national pride. He emphasized that maintaining cleanliness is also a form of national service, and the campaign was organized with this spirit to honor the great freedom fighter.

The program was attended by BJP City General Secretary Anand Singh, newly appointed BJYM District President Nitin Sen, UDA Vice President Mukesh Yadav, Mandal Presidents Virendra Anjana and Mukesh Porwal, State Minister Kartikeya Mishra, Harshvardhan Kushwaha, along with several BJP office bearers, senior leaders, and a large number of party workers.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants paid floral tributes to Chandrashekhar Azad and pledged to uphold his ideals, remain committed to serving the nation, and actively promote the Swachh Bharat mission through continuous social service initiatives.
