The court has ordered not only the cancellation of such appointments but also the recovery of salaries paid to these teachers. Justice Manju Rani Chauhan issued the directive while rejecting a petition by Deoria-based assistant teacher Garima Singh, who was accused of securing her appointment using fraudulent documents.
