Indore, July 18, 2026: The Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, has started accepting applications for the Scholarship Scheme for Children of Beedi and Mine Workers.
Eligible students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal until October 31, 2026.
Under the scheme, students studying from Class 1 to professional courses will receive annual scholarships ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹25,000, which will be transferred directly to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Applicants must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) and Face Authentication. Online verification by the respective school or college is also mandatory after application submission.
