
Poetry Recitations, Book Review, and Blood Donor Felicitation Made the Event Memorable

The monthly literary gathering of Saral Kavyanjali, organized on the occasion of Mother’s Day, was dedicated to the love, emotions, and family values associated with motherhood. The event, enriched with poetry recitations, literary discussions, and a felicitation ceremony, witnessed poets and writers expressing the importance of mothers through deeply emotional presentations.
The atmosphere became highly emotional when senior litterateur Dr. Vandana Gupta recited her touching lines:
“A mother’s concern carries the blessings of a home,
A daughter’s eyes reflect her silent pain,
Sons stand strong as support even in silence,
And a daughter-in-law’s affection fills the home with harmony.”
Providing information about the event, organization secretary Mansingh Sharad stated that the program was presided over by renowned art mentor Dr. Shrikrishna Joshi. Distinguished guests included Mukesh Joshi, senior councilor Dr. Ravi Rai, and senior litterateur G.K. Nigam. The event was conducted by Rajendra Devdhare Darpan.
Special Discussion on Story Collection
During the program, a review of the story collection “Rang Se Rashmiyon Tak” written by author Dr. Vasudha Gadgil was presented by Santosh Supekar, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Blood Donor Nitin Pol Honored
Senior organization member Nitin Pol was specially felicitated for his contribution to humanity and social service. He has donated blood 12 times and helped save many lives.
Poets Presented Emotional Literary Performances
The gathering also featured poetry recitations by Dr. Seema Pandya, Ashaganga Shiradhonkar, Dr. R.P. Tiwari, Dr. Netra Ravankar, Dr. Rafiq Nagauri, Harsh Saini, V.S. Gehlot, Tarun Upadhyay, Varsha Garg, Ashok Raktale, Dhansingh Chauhan, Dr. Vikram Vivek, Hardeep Dayale, Dr. S.K. Yadav, and Rajesh Raj.
Event Concluded with Tribute and Cultural Dignity
The program began with the welcoming of guests by Ashok Ravankar. The Saraswati Vandana was presented by Sugan Chandra Jain, while Shrikrishna Saral’s poem “Shaheedon Shraddha Sahit Pranam” was recited impressively by Nrusingh Inani.
A two-minute silence was observed in memory of late Ujjain resident and admirer of martyrs Abhay Marathe. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by V.S. Gehlot.
