Approval Orders Issued by Home Department Following Directions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

A Major Step Towards Building the Best Police Force in the Country

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had directed senior police officials during a meeting at Police Headquarters three days ago to expedite the process of filling vacant posts. He had also expressed happiness over the recent promotion drive of the state government, in which around 25,000 police officers and employees were promoted, and instructed that recruitment and promotion processes should continue in the coming months.

Following the directions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Home Department has issued approval orders for 9,662 posts of various categories in the Madhya Pradesh Police. The Chief Minister has also directed that the promotion process should continue in the future and that orders for promotion of remaining officers and employees should be issued in a phased manner by September.

9,662 Posts Approved Through Four Orders

In compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Home Department has approved direct recruitment for various Class-III non-gazetted posts in different units of Madhya Pradesh Police during 2026.

The approved posts include:

• 135 posts of Subedar (Stenographer)
• 520 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer)
• 81 posts of Subedar
• 312 posts of Sub Inspector (District Police Force)
• 69 posts of Sub Inspector (Vishesh Armed Force)
• 4 posts of Sub Inspector (Q.D.)
• 22 posts of Sub Inspector (Finger Print)
• 10 posts of Sub Inspector (Armoury)
• 9 posts of Sub Inspector (Photography)

A total of 507 posts have been approved for direct recruitment in these categories.

The state government has approved the maximum number of posts for the recruitment of Constable (GD). An order has been issued approving 7,500 posts. In another order, administrative approval has been granted for 1,000 posts of Constable (Driver).

18,000 Police Posts to Be Filled, Aim to Create the Best Police Force in the Country

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed that 18,000 posts in the police department should be filled. Apart from the currently approved 9,662 posts, approval orders for the remaining posts are also being issued soon.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after approval of 8,500 police posts last year, this year’s approval of additional posts is another important achievement. Efforts will continue to make Madhya Pradesh Police the best police force in the country.

He also said that after eliminating Naxalism from the state, the police force will play a constructive role in development activities.

Indore and Development Are Synonymous: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Inaugurated One Arm of Madhya Pradesh’s First Double-Layer Flyover Bridge in Indore

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated one arm of Madhya Pradesh’s first double-layer flyover bridge in Indore. He described the bridge constructed at Lavkush Square at a cost of Rs 175 crore as an excellent example of modern technology and advanced engineering.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore and development are synonymous. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country and the state are witnessing all-round development.

He said that keeping Simhastha-2028 in view, this flyover will play an important role in smooth traffic movement on the Indore-Ujjain route. It will reduce travel time, save fuel, provide relief from traffic congestion and ensure safe and convenient transportation for citizens.

The Chief Minister said that this project is an important infrastructure achievement towards realizing the vision of a developed Indore and developed Madhya Pradesh.

The biggest feature of this project is its three-level traffic management system. The first level will handle normal traffic at Lavkush Square, the second level includes the existing flyover and metro rail corridor, while the third level consists of the new double-layer flyover.

The flyover has been constructed by the Indore Development Authority. The approximately 1,450-meter-long flyover includes two steel bow-string girders weighing 400 tonnes each, installed at a height of 22 metres. The use of around 800 tonnes of steel structure makes it one of the significant engineering achievements of the state.

After opening one arm of the bridge, traffic movement from Arvindo towards Banganga has started. The construction work of the second arm is in its final stage.

Special Train from Jabalpur to Depart for Mathura-Vrindavan Pilgrimage on July 25

Under the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, a special train for the Mathura-Vrindavan pilgrimage will arrive at Jabalpur Main Railway Station on July 25 at 2 PM and depart for its destination at 2:10 PM.

Madhya Pradesh State Women Commission’s Joint Bench to Hear Cases in Jabalpur on August 4 and 5

The Madhya Pradesh State Women Commission will organise a joint bench in Jabalpur on August 4 and 5 for hearing cases.

The hearing will be conducted at Circuit House No. 2. Commission Chairperson Mrs. Rekha Yadav, Member Mrs. Sadhana Stapak and Member Secretary Mr. Suresh Tomar will be present.

The hearings will begin daily at 11 AM on both days.
