Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Pays Tribute to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad on His Birth Anniversary

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar in Alirajpur district, the birthplace of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, and paid tribute to the great revolutionary on his birth anniversary.

The Chief Minister offered floral tributes at the statue of Chandrashekhar Azad and said that the sacrifice, unmatched courage, patriotism and dedication of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will always remain a source of inspiration for every Indian. His ideals will continue to guide the new generation towards national service, self-respect and patriotism.

Later, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “Azad Prerna Mashaal Yatra” from Chandrashekhar Udyan. A large number of public representatives, officials, youth and citizens participated enthusiastically in the torch rally.

The yatra reached Azad Kutia (Azad Smriti Mandir), where the Chief Minister offered floral tributes and paid heartfelt homage to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad.

Life of Chandrashekhar Azad is an Inspiring Example of Patriotism

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition showcasing the life journey of Chandrashekhar Azad at Azad Smriti Mandir. He reviewed historical information related to Azad’s birth, childhood, contribution to the freedom struggle and his supreme sacrifice for the nation.

He said that the entire life of Chandrashekhar Azad is an unparalleled example of courage, self-respect and patriotism. His ideals will continue to inspire citizens, especially the youth, towards serving the nation.

The Chief Minister also viewed the “Azad Katha” exhibition, which highlighted Chandrashekhar Azad’s revolutionary activities, the Kakori incident, Saunders assassination, his leadership in the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army and his supreme sacrifice for the motherland.

Remembering the life, struggle and supreme sacrifice of Chandrashekhar Azad at Azad Kutia, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that his life will always remain a source of inspiration for the people of the country, especially the youth.

He appealed to the youth to actively participate in nation-building and adopt the ideals of great revolutionaries in their lives.

The programme was organised under the birth anniversary celebrations of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad and the “Balram Krishi Mahotsav” in a dignified atmosphere. Public representatives, officials and a large number of citizens participated in the event.

The entire area echoed with patriotic songs and slogans during the programme. The slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, “Vande Mataram” and “Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Amar Rahe” filled the atmosphere with patriotism.

Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chouhan, MP Smt. Anita Chauhan and other public representatives were present on the occasion.


Collector and Superintendent of Police Inspect Newly Constructed Tilwara Police Station Building

Collector Shri Raghvendra Singh and Superintendent of Police Shri Sampat Upadhyay inspected the newly constructed police station building at Tilwara.

During the inspection, they reviewed the construction work, available facilities and arrangements at the premises.

They directed the concerned officials to ensure quality construction, complete the remaining works within the stipulated time and make all necessary arrangements for providing better police services to citizens.

The officials emphasized that all required facilities should be ensured at the police station premises so that citizens can receive smooth and efficient police services.

Officials from concerned departments were also present during the inspection.


Training Conducted on IFMS Bill Withdrawal Process and Login Password Security

A training programme was organised by the District Treasury Department for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of all departments regarding the process of bill withdrawal through the IFMS system and security of login passwords.

The training was conducted at the Adi Shankaracharya Auditorium of the Institute of Advanced Educational Studies.

During the programme, Senior Treasury Officer Saket Jain, Additional Treasury Officer Naveen Barekar and System Manager Rajesh Kumar Gupta provided detailed information about selecting the correct accounting heads related to bills in the IFMS system, complete payment details in sanction orders and rules mentioned in the Treasury Code 2020.

Officials were also trained on topics including online final payment procedures of GPF and DPF, Leave Rules 2025 and GIS calculation on the pension portal.

Assistant Treasury Officers of the District Treasury Department were also present during the training programme.


Three-Day Photo Exhibition on “12 Years of Service and Good Governance” and “Kargil Victory Saga” from July 25

The Central Bureau of Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, in collaboration with the district administration and Government Mahakaushal Autonomous College, will organise a three-day photo exhibition on the themes “12 Years of Service and Good Governance” and “Kargil Victory Saga” from July 25 to 27.

The exhibition will be organised at the Prime Minister College of Excellence, Government Mahakaushal Autonomous College, Jabalpur.

The inauguration of the exhibition will take place on July 25 at 12:30 PM. Along with the photo exhibition, cultural performances by song and drama groups, awareness programmes, competitions and quizzes will also be organised.

The objective of the exhibition is to showcase the achievements made during the last 12 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the areas of good governance, inclusive development and the vision of Developed India-2047.

The exhibition will also pay tribute to the historic victory of the Indian Army in the 1999 Kargil War and the 557 brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.

The exhibition will remain open free of cost for the public from July 25 to 27, daily from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Citizens, students and public representatives have been invited to participate and learn about India’s development journey and the valour of Kargil heroes.


Agriculture Officials Inspect Crop Demonstration and Natural Farming Activities

Following the instructions of Collector Shri Raghvendra Singh to promote advanced agricultural techniques and natural farming, a team of agriculture officials visited farmers’ fields in Kundam development block and inspected crop demonstrations.

The team inspected the Kodo crop demonstration of farmer Jai Hind in Lakhanwara village and the Arhar demonstration plot of farmer Manoj Kumar Sahu in Tikaria village.

Officials reviewed crop growth and management practices and provided farmers with detailed information about timely crop management, pest control, disease prevention and advanced agricultural techniques.

Farmers were also encouraged to take maximum benefit of government agricultural schemes.

Natural Farming Will Help Improve Soil Fertility

Agriculture officials inspected the BRC Centres at Kurgawan and Barkheda and reviewed the preparation of natural and organic inputs such as Jeevamrit, Beejamrit, Dashparni Ark and Neem Astra.

Officials informed farmers that the use of these organic inputs will reduce excessive dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides. This will improve soil fertility, protect the environment and make farming more sustainable, cost-effective and profitable.

Farmers were encouraged to adopt scientific and natural farming practices.

The inspection team included Deputy Director of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development U.K. Katahre, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer Smt. Pratibha Gaur, Senior Agriculture Development Officer L.P. Uikey, Agriculture Extension Officer Dr. Suni Thakur, Ms. Pranjali Verma and Deepanshu Soni.
