Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, positive transformation is being witnessed in Alirajpur and other tribal regions of Madhya Pradesh. He said that the entire tribal belt of the state, including Jhabua, Alirajpur, Mandla, Dindori, and Balaghat, is like a pilgrimage place for us.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid tribute to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad on his 120th birth anniversary at Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar. Addressing the Balram Krishi Mahotsav, he said that a young revolutionary from this land made his life meaningful by fighting against British rule during India’s freedom struggle.

He said that tribal revolutionaries like Chheetu Kirad, Raja Aliya Bhil, and Kranti Surya Tantya Mama made invaluable contributions to the freedom movement. The state government pays tribute to these great heroes while remembering their sacrifices.

The Chief Minister informed that the Dahi Narmada Pipeline Irrigation Project at Jobat has been completed, and its inauguration will be held soon. After completion, Narmada water will reach Jobat.

Dr. Yadav said that after Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, and Barwani, the Balram Krishi Mahotsav is now being organized in Alirajpur. Farmers promoting advanced and natural farming practices were honored during the event to encourage others to adopt modern agricultural techniques.

Focus on Farmers’ Welfare and Tribal Development

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted various infrastructure development initiatives in Alirajpur district. He said that under the Swamitva Yojana, 10,136 beneficiaries have received benefits, while 331 beneficiaries have been provided land ownership documents.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 90,124 permanent houses have been approved in the district. Around 5,70,179 beneficiaries are receiving free ration facilities.

Eligible beneficiaries are also receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ladli Behna Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to the welfare of women and youth, and women beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana are receiving monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500.

Contribution of Soldiers and Farmers is Equally Important

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the contribution of soldiers guarding the nation’s borders and farmers working in fields is equally significant.

He said that 2026 is being observed as the Year of Farmers’ Welfare, and all possible efforts are being made for the prosperity of farmers.

He informed that 47,852 farmers of Alirajpur district have received benefits under the crop insurance scheme so far.

Efforts to Strengthen Dairy Sector on the Lines of Gujarat

The Chief Minister said that livestock development and milk production are being promoted to increase farmers’ income.

Following the successful dairy model of Gujarat through Amul, the Madhya Pradesh government has introduced a new scheme to encourage cow rearing. Under the scheme, farmers starting dairies with 25 improved breed cows can receive subsidies up to ₹10 lakh.

He appealed to farmers to adopt natural farming practices.

Development Works Worth ₹357 Crore Announced for Alirajpur

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Alirajpur district has received development projects worth approximately ₹357 crore for 271 works.

These include:

• 64 roads worth ₹120 crore in Bhabra development block.
• Sandipani School at Kadwania worth ₹22 crore.
• Kondwa Irrigation Project for improving irrigation facilities.

He announced that a grand park dedicated to Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will be developed in Bhabra and Rani Kajal Mata Lok will also be established.

The Chief Minister said that the Dahi Lift Irrigation Narmada Pipeline Project, constructed at a cost of approximately ₹11,000 crore, will be inaugurated by Diwali this year, benefiting farmers significantly.

He said that Alirajpur has a unique identity due to its rich tribal culture, traditions, language, folk arts, natural farming, forest produce, and natural resources.

The state government is continuously working for the preservation and promotion of tribal culture, traditions, and folk arts. Special efforts will be made to provide national and international recognition to local art and culture.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the government aims to make Alirajpur the number one district in every sector.

400 TB Patients Receive Nutritional Support with Assistance from Vehicle Factory Jabalpur

1,953 Food Baskets Distributed Under National TB Elimination Programme

Under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme, nutritional food baskets were distributed to 400 needy TB patients undergoing treatment with the support of Vehicle Factory Jabalpur.

The food baskets were distributed through programs organized at Government Hospital Ranjhi, Cantt Hospital, District Hospital, and Medical College.

A distribution program was organized at the Medical College auditorium in the presence of the Chief Medical and Health Officer and General Manager of Vehicle Factory Jabalpur, Shri Rameshwar Meena.

Patients from Seven Urban TB Units Benefited

Nutritional kits were provided to needy patients undergoing treatment under all seven Urban Tuberculosis Units of the district:

• District TB Centre
• Medical College
• Cantt
• Ranjhi
• Manmohan Nagar
• Motinala
• Hathital

Vehicle Factory Jabalpur has been actively supporting the National TB Elimination Campaign for several years.

As a result of this cooperation, 1,953 food baskets have been distributed in the district since last year, providing essential nutritional support to TB patients during treatment.

Social Participation Important for TB Elimination

The General Manager of Vehicle Factory Jabalpur assured continued support for TB patients in the future and said that social participation and institutional cooperation are essential to achieve the goal of TB elimination.

District TB Officer Dr. Santosh Thakur, Shri Amit Dubey, District Media Officer Ajay Kuril, officials from various TB Units, and employees of the District TB Elimination Unit were present during the program.
