Jabalpur, July 24, 2026: Divisional Commissioner Dhananjay Singh visited the Umaria-Dungaria Industrial Area in Jabalpur district to review industrial activities and assess opportunities for investment promotion and employment generation.

During the visit, Collector Raghvendra Singh, MPIDC Executive Director Anil Rathore, SDM Madan Raghuvanshi, and other senior officials accompanied him. The Divisional Commissioner discussed the expansion of existing industrial units and explored possibilities for creating additional employment. He also reviewed the number of jobs generated by the operational industries.

The MPIDC Executive Director informed that infrastructure development covering 30.306 hectares in Industrial Area Phase-I (Extension) has been completed at a cost of ₹7.74 crore.

He further stated that infrastructure upgradation work worth ₹14.97 crore is underway across 104.20 hectares in Umaria-Dungaria Industrial Area Phases I and II, with completion expected by August 2026.

Additionally, the area’s water supply system is being upgraded to provide an additional capacity of 3 MLD. The ₹18.48 crore project is expected to be completed by January 2027.

According to officials, 159 industrial units have been allotted 65.863 hectares of land in the district’s industrial areas. Out of these, 96 units are operational, attracting investments of ₹423 crore and generating direct employment for 1,945 people. Construction work is also in progress for 17 additional industrial units.

The Divisional Commissioner also planted saplings within the industrial area and reviewed ongoing water conservation initiatives.

Fast-Track Courts to Be Established in Four Major Cities of Madhya Pradesh for Youth: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav

Jabalpur, July 24, 2026: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that Fast-Track Courts will be established in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, and Gwalior to expedite cases related to education and employment of young people.

Addressing a public gathering in Panna, the Chief Minister said that under the Social Security Pension Scheme, nearly ₹210 crore was transferred through single-click Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to more than 3.5 million beneficiaries. He also distributed certificates to beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes and self-reliant Gram Panchayats.

Dr. Yadav stated that the Ken-Betwa River Linking Project would transform the Bundelkhand region. He noted that the Central Government has approved 90% funding for the ₹1 lakh crore project, which will significantly boost agriculture and irrigation.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Glass Floor View Point at Brihaspati Kund in Panna, describing it as a major tourism attraction that will draw visitors from India and abroad.

He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹184.83 crore, including two Sandipani Schools in Gunnor and Pawai.

Dr. Yadav said the state government has approved nearly 10,000 new police posts and created employment opportunities in more than 100,000 government positions.

Referring to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), he said Madhya Pradesh is moving toward implementing a common legal framework for all citizens.

A total of 126 Indian athletes are competing in 13 sports disciplines across 113 events at the Games, being held from July 23 to August 2, 2026.

The Chief Minister said the entire nation is confident that Indian athletes will once again raise the Tricolour proudly on the global stage.

Central Government Fully Committed to Safeguarding the Future of Youth: Chief Minister

Jabalpur, July 24, 2026: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said the Central Government remains fully committed to protecting the future of young people and strengthening transparency and credibility in the country’s examination system.

He stated that Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh met Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, where they discussed issues concerning students and outlined the government’s initiatives and future plans.

Following the constructive discussions, Sonam Wangchuk decided to end his hunger strike.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government continues to take strong measures against paper leaks while ensuring fairness, transparency, and the protection of students’ interests in competitive examinations.
