Kanpur: In a major boost to Kanpur’s infrastructure, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has approved the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor from Ramadevi to Gol Chauraha on the old National Highway-91. The ambitious project, estimated at ₹988.30 crore, aims to ease traffic congestion and improve road safety in the city. The 10.16-kilometer elevated corridor will pass over 16 railway crossings, which currently cause significant traffic snarls.
