MP CM Mohan Yadav Clarifies: “Rajasthan is Not Pakistan” Amid Water Dispute Discussions
In a candid statement at the DigiFest TIE Global Summit, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that there is no hostility with Rajasthan, describing the neighbouring state as a “brotherly” partner. Addressing long-standing water-sharing issues, CM Yadav remarked, “Rajasthan is not Pakistan that we should harbor enmity. Our relationship is based on cooperation and mutual benefit.”
During his one-day visit to Jaipur, CM Yadav highlighted the ongoing water dispute over sharing 5 percent of river water between the states, noting that Madhya Pradesh is willing to increase the share to 7 percent to support Rajasthan’s industrial and agricultural needs.
