New Delhi: A shocking discovery was made on Friday in the Kakrola area of Dwarka district, where the bodies of a husband and wife were found in the Sahibi River (Najafgarh Drain). Police, with the help of divers, retrieved the bodies from the water. The deceased have been identified as Munna Lal (58) and Ramvati Devi (55), who had been reported missing from Bindapur since January 17. New Delhi: Residents of 20 Delhi Assembly constituencies, totaling around 2.2 million people, are facing severe water shortages due to reduced output from the Wazirabad and Chandrawal Water Treatment Plants. The crisis stems from elevated ammonia levels in the Yamuna River, which remain five times higher than normal. According to officials, the ammonia level in the Yamuna was recorded at 5 parts per million (ppm) on Friday, while normal levels should be around 0.9–1 ppm. New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested a woman who was allegedly using fake foreign embassy number plates on her car to avoid law enforcement scrutiny. The woman, a resident of Assam, claimed to have worked as a consultant for a foreign embassy for a year. The Crime Branch’s Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Unit apprehended the woman after receiving intelligence that she frequently visited various embassies and high-security areas in New Delhi using a car fitted with counterfeit embassy number plates.
