

Officials of Shyam Cell & Power Company Meet CM, Request Additional Land Allocation for Second Unit in Pithampur
Jabalpur, July 21 (SDNA): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is continuously progressing in every sector and expressed happiness over the growing interest shown by industrialists and investors in investing in the state. He said that every investor willing to invest in the heart of India is warmly welcomed in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met the officials of Shyam Cell & Power Company Limited on Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s Chamber in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. During the meeting, the company’s Joint Managing Director Sanjay Agrawal and Chief Operating Officer Deepak Kumar Gaur apprised the Chief Minister about the company’s upcoming projects and future investment plans.
The company officials informed that Shyam Cell & Power Company manufactures stainless steel products. The company already operates a manufacturing unit in the industrial area of Pithampur, Dhar district. The company has invested around ₹550 crore in this unit and has provided employment to approximately 1,300 people.
The company plans to establish its second production unit in Pithampur itself. The proposed unit will involve an investment of around ₹1,000 crore and is expected to generate employment opportunities for more than 1,000 people. For this expansion, the company requires additional land in Pithampur. Company representatives requested the Chief Minister to allocate the required additional land.
On the occasion, Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Raghavendra Kumar Singh informed that the company has been provided details of the state’s latest industrial policies. He said that the company has selected Pithampur for its second manufacturing unit as well. The company has already been allotted 25 acres of land for the proposed unit; however, additional land is required for further expansion.
The meeting was attended by Chandramouli Shukla, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Limited (MPIDC), along with other senior departmental officials.
