Ghaziabad’s GDA Hands Over 5 Colonies to Municipal Corporation, Promising Better Civic Amenities
Ghaziabad: Residents of Ghaziabad, located on the outskirts of Delhi, have a reason to cheer. The long-standing maintenance issues in several localities are set to be resolved, as the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has officially handed over more than five residential colonies to the Municipal Corporation. This major move also clears the path for funding new development works.
Under this arrangement, GDA will transfer a total of ₹66 crore to the Municipal Corporation in two installments to cover maintenance and improvement of these colonies.
