Andhra Pradesh First State to Cross 1 Crore Enrollments on iGOT Karmayogi; CM Naidu Hails Milestone

Amaravati, Jan 30: Andhra Pradesh has become the first state in the country to achieve over one crore enrollments and 80 lakh course completions on the Union government’s iGOT Karmayogi digital learning platform, officials said. Launched in 2022, the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) Karmayogi platform aims to enhance the skills and competencies of central and state government officials through digital learning modules, improving public service delivery across the nation. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday welcomed the recognition of the milestone, noting that it reflects the commitment of state government employees to continuous learning and professional development.

Pune, Jan 30: A day after Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was cremated in his hometown of Baramati, his two sons collected his ashes from the funeral site on Friday. Pawar, 66, fondly known as ‘Dada’ (elder brother), along with four others, lost his life when the plane they were traveling in crashed just 200 metres from the edge of Baramati’s tabletop airstrip on Wednesday morning. He was cremated with full state honours on Thursday at the Vidya Pratishthan College grounds in Baramati, approximately 100 km from Pune, in the presence of prominent political leaders and thousands of mourners.
