Bihar Government Recommends CBI Probe into Death of NEET Aspirant in Patna

Patna, Jan 31:The Bihar government has recommended a CBI investigation into the recent death of a female NEET aspirant in Patna, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said on Saturday. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Bihar Police is currently probing the case. The aspirant, a resident of Jehanabad, was found unconscious earlier this month at the Shambhu Girls’ Hostel in Chitragupt Nagar, Patna. Despite medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries, prompting widespread concern and calls for a thorough investigation. The state government’s recommendation for a CBI probe aims to ensure an impartial and detailed inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her death.
