Madhuvan: (SDNA) On the fifth day of the Shri Siddhachakra Mahamandal Vidhan, Rashtrasant Muni Shri 108 Pramansagar Maharaj delivered a profound discourse on the subtle science of karmic bondage. He explained that the process of karmic bondage begins with every activity of the mind, speech, and body. Therefore, every individual should remain alert and vigilant at all times and adopt the principle: “Fear committing sin, not the consequences after committing it.”
According to Avinash Jain ‘Vidyavani’, National Spokesperson of Gunayatan, Muni Shri said that every great achievement is accomplished through thoughtful planning and systematic execution. Likewise, the Shri Siddhachakra Mahamandal Vidhan is not merely a religious ritual but a grand spiritual discipline dedicated to knowledge, self-purification, and inner awakening.
Muni Shri explained that every thought, emotion, and action creates vibrations within the soul, attracting karmic particles that bind themselves to it. These karmas later produce auspicious or inauspicious results. Comparing this process to an “inner camera,” he said that human consciousness continuously records every thought, feeling, and action in subtle form.
He elaborated on the three stages of karmic bondage—Samarambha, Samarambha (Preparation), and Arambha (Execution). The initial intention is called Samarambha, preparation is Samarambha, and the actual execution is Arambha. This process takes place through the mind, speech, and body. Therefore, any negative tendency should be stopped at the stage of intention or preparation itself, while virtuous and religious deeds should be performed with enthusiasm, devotion, and complete dedication.
Encouraging devotees, Muni Shri urged them to experience the divine presence of the Lord during every stage of the Vidhan and sincerely pray while offering each Arghya: “O Lord, may my sins be destroyed and may my soul attain spiritual welfare.” He said that worship performed with pure and selfless devotion alone yields true spiritual benefits.
Avinash Jain ‘Vidyavani’ informed that during Saturday’s Vidhan, Muni Shri advised devotees to renounce the four passions—anger, pride, deceit, and greed—through mind, speech, and body at every stage of intention, preparation, and execution. Inspired by this message, thousands of devotees present at the venue, along with participants performing the Vidhan online across India and abroad, offered 108 Arghyas, completing a total of 128 Arghyas. He also explained the spiritual significance of the number 108, which is traditionally prefixed before the names of Jain monks.
He further announced that on the sixth day of the Vidhan, Sunday, devotees will offer 256 Arghyas to the Lord with the spiritual resolve of “Karma-Dahan” (Burning of Karmas).
During his discourse, Muni Shri emphasized that every action inevitably bears its fruit. Generally, people remain careless while committing sinful acts, but when they suffer the consequences, they question God about their hardships. A wise person, however, becomes cautious before committing sin rather than regretting it afterward. Therefore, saints teach: “Fear committing sin, not after committing it.”
He appealed to devotees that if they seek only one blessing from this Vidhan, it should be this prayer: “O Lord, instill in my heart a fear of sin.” He explained that fear of sin leads to love for the Lord, and love for the Lord becomes the foundation of self-discipline and spiritual realization.
Concluding his discourse, Muni Shri urged everyone to make the best use of time, maintain discipline and concentration, and actively participate in the Vidhan so that this great spiritual practice may become a source of self-purification, harmony, and spiritual upliftment for all.
The entire Vidhan was conducted in Sanskrit under the guidance of Rashtrasant Muni Shri 108 Pramansagar Maharaj and Muni Shri 108 Sandhansagar Maharaj with sacred Riddhi-Siddhi mantras. The monastic order remained present on the stage throughout the ceremony. Pratishthacharya Brahmachari Ashok Bhaiya, Brahmachari Abhay Bhaiya, Assistant Amit Bastu, Pandit Sudarshan Ji, Rahul Jain, and accompanying musicians filled the atmosphere with melodious devotional music. As the sacred mantras resonated from Muni Shri’s divine voice, the entire pandal echoed with spiritual energy and chants of devotion.
