Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers’ convention on Saturday at the Datia by-election office, Hotel Ratan Royal. Speaking to party workers from both urban and rural organizational units of the Datia Assembly constituency, he said that the BJP is a cadre-based political party where every worker has the opportunity to grow and serve.
The Chief Minister stated that the BJP has once again demonstrated its commitment to grassroots leadership by fielding Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari, a dedicated party worker, as its candidate for the Datia Assembly by-election. He described the election as not only a contest between the BJP and the Congress but also a battle between dynastic politics and grassroots leadership. He urged party workers to work tirelessly to ensure the BJP candidate’s victory and to take the achievements and welfare schemes of the government to every household.
BJP Governments Have Worked for Every Section of Society
Dr. Yadav emphasized that the BJP has consistently worked for the development of all sections of society. He said that the “double-engine government” has implemented numerous welfare schemes for the poor, farmers, women, youth, and other communities. He encouraged party workers to visit every village and every home to inform people about these initiatives and their benefits.
Highlighting Development in Datia
The Chief Minister highlighted several development projects undertaken in the Datia Assembly constituency under the BJP government. He mentioned the establishment of a Medical College, improved air connectivity for devotees visiting the famous Maa Pitambara Temple, expansion of road infrastructure, and enhanced water availability for farmers through various irrigation initiatives.
He also noted that the BJP government had successfully restored peace and law and order in areas that were once affected by the menace of dacoits and criminal activities. Referring to welfare schemes, he said that the Ladli Behna Yojana is providing monthly financial assistance to women, while farmers are benefiting from the Kisan Samman Nidhi, initiatives that he claimed were never implemented during previous Congress governments.
A Contest Between Dynastic Politics and Grassroots Leadership
Dr. Mohan Yadav criticized the Congress, alleging that it has historically promoted individual-centric and family-based politics. In contrast, he said, the BJP believes in empowering ordinary workers and providing leadership opportunities based on merit and dedication.
He remarked that while the BJP respects royal families, it is also a party where a tea seller can become the Prime Minister and a farmer’s son can become the Chief Minister. Describing the BJP as a nationalist party rooted in the principles of Antyodaya and Integral Humanism, he said that the nation always remains the party’s highest priority.
The Chief Minister concluded by urging party workers to strengthen the organization’s outreach, communicate the government’s achievements effectively, and ensure a decisive victory for the BJP candidate in the Datia Assembly by-election.
