Students, Parents, and Teachers Participate in the “One Tree in the Name of the Guru” Campaign

As part of the Guru Purnima Fortnight celebrations, Sandipani School, Karondigram organized a special tree plantation drive on Saturday under the campaign “One Tree in the Name of the Guru.” The initiative was aimed at promoting environmental conservation and encouraging students to develop a sense of responsibility toward nature.

Students enthusiastically participated in the program by planting a variety of saplings across the school campus. The event also witnessed active participation from parents and teachers, reflecting a strong community commitment to environmental protection.

The plantation drive was organized under the guidance and inspiration of Principal G. P. Jhariya, who emphasized the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and creating a healthier environment. He encouraged students to nurture the saplings they planted and take responsibility for their long-term care.

The program received valuable support from all the teachers of the school, whose efforts contributed to its successful execution. Parents appreciated the initiative and encouraged the children to actively participate in environmental conservation activities.
