Ladpura MLA Kalpana Devi Plants Saplings in Schools, Announces Two New Classrooms, Inspects ₹6.33 Crore Chambal River Protection Wall

Kota: Ladpura Assembly constituency MLA Mrs. Kalpana Devi visited several villages and government schools in her constituency, where she participated in tree plantation drives, promoted environmental conservation, announced the construction of two new classrooms at a government school in Gangaicha, and inspected the ₹6.33 crore Chambal River protection wall.

The MLA began her visit at the Government Senior Secondary School, Kishanpura Takiya Gram Panchayat, where she planted saplings along with party workers and members of the school staff. She later interacted with students, discussing their education, career aspirations, and various academic subjects. Encouraging them to actively contribute to environmental protection, she urged every student to plant and nurture more trees.

She then visited the Government Senior Secondary School, Rangpur, where she planted more saplings and emphasized that protecting nature is not merely a campaign but a responsibility toward future generations. She said that every tree planted is a meaningful step toward building a greener, cleaner, and more prosperous Rajasthan.

Later, Mrs. Kalpana Devi reached the Government Upper Primary School, Gangaicha, where she planted saplings and announced the construction of two new classrooms for the school. Addressing students and villagers, she stated that providing quality education along with a clean and healthy environment is a collective responsibility. She also appealed to the public to transform tree plantation into a people’s movement and extend environmental awareness to every household and village.

During her visit, the MLA also inspected the Chambal River protection wall, constructed at an estimated cost of ₹6.33 crore in Gangaicha village under Rangpur Gram Panchayat. She reviewed the quality, progress, and technical aspects of the project and directed officials to ensure that the construction is completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high quality standards and complete transparency.

Mrs. Kalpana Devi said that the protection wall is a significant infrastructure project that will help prevent riverbank erosion, safeguard settlements along the Chambal River, and strengthen the region’s infrastructure. The project is expected to reduce the risk of future damage and provide greater security to residents living near the river.

Local public representatives, party workers, school staff, government officials, villagers, and residents were present during the visit.
