Raipur: (SDNA) A two-day programme will be organised in the capital city of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, on July 25 and 26 on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas by the district unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Ex-Servicemen Service Council. The objective of the programme is to pay tribute to the brave martyrs of the Kargil War, instill a spirit of patriotism among the youth, and inspire them to serve the nation.
According to the council, the programme will begin on July 25 at 4:30 PM with a tribute ceremony for Shaheed Kaushal Yadav, a recipient of the Veer Chakra award, at Akashvani Chowk. Following this, a grand bike rally will be taken out from Akashvani Chowk.
The rally will pass through Collectorate Chowk, Moti Bagh, Kalibadi, Siddharth Chowk, Santoshi Nagar, and Boria Khurd before reaching the Maa Durga Temple premises in Kandul. Through the rally, the sacrifice of the brave soldiers of the Kargil War will be remembered and a message of patriotism will be conveyed to the public.
The organisers said that various patriotic programmes will also be held during the two-day event, with participation from ex-servicemen, youth, and citizens.
