

New Delhi, July 18: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari paid tribute to South African leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nelson Mandela on the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day, urging people to draw inspiration from his life and enduring values.
In a message shared on social media, Gadkari said that Nelson Mandela’s life stands as a remarkable example of courage, compassion, and forgiveness. He noted that Mandela demonstrated to the world how justice, equality, and respect for human dignity can transform societies and bring about positive change.
The Union Minister said that Mandela’s lifelong commitment to human rights, social justice, and equal opportunity continues to inspire people across the globe. He added that Mandela’s ideals remain a guiding force in promoting peace, harmony, and inclusive development.
Gadkari called upon citizens to embrace Nelson Mandela’s values in their daily lives and work collectively towards building a more just, equitable, and compassionate society.
