Congress Questions UP Government’s Education System After Sharing Viral School Video

Lucknow/Kaushambi: The Uttar Pradesh Congress has targeted the Yogi Adityanath government over the state’s education system and law-and-order situation by sharing a video on the social media platform X. In its post, the party alleged that the principal of a primary school in Kaushambi was seen slapping students and brandishing a knife in front of children inside the classroom, creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity.

In the post, the Congress stated that children who come to school to build their future are now being forced to study under the shadow of fear. The party questioned the effectiveness of the Education Department’s oversight and asked why the government’s claims of maintaining law and order were not reflected in such incidents.

The Congress further argued that if children are not safe even within school premises, parents have every reason to question whether schools can provide a secure environment. The party alleged that the state government’s failure to ensure safety and accountability has raised serious concerns about the condition of Uttar Pradesh’s education system.

The video has attracted significant attention on social media, with users expressing mixed reactions. While many voiced concern over student safety and discipline in schools, others called for a fair investigation into the incident and strict action against those found responsible.

At present, the authenticity and context of the viral video have not been independently verified. An official response from the concerned authorities and the outcome of any inquiry are still awaited.
