Jabalpur: Collector Raghavendra Singh inspected the water storage status at Bargi Dam and reviewed the functioning of its canal network.
Officials informed him that the current water level of the dam has reached 413.75 meters. The Collector also inspected the right bank canal, where 15 cumecs of water is currently being released for irrigation, benefiting farmers in Jabalpur, Panagar, and Sihora.
He directed officials to continuously monitor water flow and ensure regular maintenance and cleaning of canals to facilitate uninterrupted irrigation.
