Congress to Engage with Students Across the Country on Wednesday Under ‘Students’ Voice’ Campaign

New Delhi, July 22 (SDNA): The Congress has decided to launch a nationwide dialogue campaign focusing on issues related to students. Under the ‘Students’ Voice’ campaign, the party will organize interaction programmes with students on Wednesday at colleges, universities, coaching institutes, hostels, and other educational campuses across the country.

Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, in a statement issued on Tuesday, said that the campaign aims to raise students’ concerns in an organized manner. He stated that issues such as frequent question paper leaks, delays in examinations, uncertainty in the recruitment process, rising education costs, and increasing unemployment would be highlighted through the initiative.

He said that young people across the country are facing several challenges and that it is necessary to listen to their concerns and take effective steps for solutions. Through this campaign, the party will also attempt to gather students’ suggestions and experiences.

The Congress stated that issues related to education and employment are directly connected with the future of the youth and require wider discussion and attention.
