Bihar to Transform Government Offices, Over ₹30 Crore Allocated Per Block
Patna: The government of Bihar has initiated a major plan to revamp the state’s administrative offices. Under this initiative, new office complexes will be constructed in all 240 blocks (prabhands) across the state, with each block receiving over ₹30 crore for the project.
According to the Department of Building Construction, the plan aims to strengthen the administrative infrastructure by constructing new block-cum-subdivision office buildings along with residential complexes. In addition to the 240 new block-cum-subdivision office buildings, 59 blocks will have special office-cum-residential complexes.
