Agra: A shocking case of ragging has surfaced at SN Medical College, Agra, where an MBBS student alleged that senior students assaulted him and later attacked his brother when he intervened. Noida: In a disturbing case of emergency service misuse, a resident of Greater Noida has caused a significant waste of police time and resources by making repeated false calls to the 112 helpline. According to police, Pradeep, a resident of Chachula village in the Dankaur area, made 143 unnecessary calls to the 112 emergency number in March 2025. Each time, police teams rushed to the location, only to find no real emergency. Investigations revealed that Pradeep, often intoxicated, made calls reporting fabricated emergencies, including disputes with his wife, his mother going missing, or a neighbor’s cart blocking his house. :The sacred Panchkoshi Parikrama of the Prayagraj Magh Mela commenced on Monday under the joint aegis of the Prayagraj Mela Authority, Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara and the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad. A large number of saints and seers are participating in the five-day spiritual journey, during which they will offer prayers at prominent ancient temples and pilgrimage sites across the city.
