Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Directed on NCR Pollution, Focus on Four Key Cities
Jaipur: The central government has intensified efforts to curb rising air pollution in Delhi-NCR, issuing directives to state governments to take strict action. In this context, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has been specifically instructed regarding the cities of Alwar, Bhiwadi, Neemrana, and Bharatpur.
During a high-level review meeting on pollution control chaired by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, the central government assessed the measures taken by Rajasthan and Punjab. This marked the fifth such review by the minister to address air quality issues in the region. Both states were urged to implement stringent measures to reduce air pollution affecting Delhi-NCR.
