SIT Fails to Submit Report in Yuvraj Mehta Death Case Even After 10 Days, Despite CM Yogi’s 5-Day Deadline
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to probe the death of engineer Yuvraj Mehta, who drowned after his car got submerged in a basement in Noida’s Sector-150, has failed to submit its investigation report even ten days after the incident — despite Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directing that the report be submitted within five working days.
According to official sources, the SIT, headed by Additional Director General (ADG) Bhanu Bhaskar, is still in the process of finalising its findings. On Thursday, the committee held detailed deliberations in Meerut to complete the final report.
Speaking to Navbharat Times, ADG Bhanu Bhaskar stated that the investigation has reached its final stage and efforts are being made to submit the report to the state government at the earliest...
