Assam CM Accused of Insulting Muslims; Maulana Barelvi Condemns ‘Record-Breaking Disrespect’
Bareilly: Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, National President of the All India Muslim Jamaat, has sharply criticized Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his recent statements targeting the Muslim community. According to Maulana Barelvi, the CM has maintained a consistently anti-Muslim stance since taking office and is intensifying his rhetoric ahead of elections.
Allegations Against the CM
Maulana Barelvi stated that Sarma labels Muslims as illegal immigrants and Bangladeshis, subjects them to harassment, and insults them by referring to them as “Miyan.” He added, “The Chief Minister is determined to secure a second term at any cost. In the process, he has broken all records in insulting Muslims.”
