Panic gripped parts of Gorakhpur district on Friday morning after the naked body of an unidentified woman was discovered near the Bayer Ghatta bridge under the Pipiganj police station area. According to police sources, the deceased woman is believed to be around 35 years old. Her body was found without clothes, and her head had been brutally crushed with bricks, indicating a violent murder. Local residents who had gone out for their morning walk first noticed the body lying near the bridge and immediately informed the police.
