Severe Fog Disrupts Train Services in Madhya Pradesh, Passengers Left Waiting in Bone-Chilling Cold
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The bitter cold winds from North India combined with dense fog have completely disrupted rail traffic in Madhya Pradesh. With visibility dropping to as low as 20 meters, trains like the Shri Dham Express and Agartala-RKMPS Special have been delayed by 13 to 14 hours.
Trains Running 14 Hours Late
The dense fog has wreaked havoc on train services, especially those coming towards Bhopal and Itarsi from Northern India. The visibility was so poor that most trains were forced to crawl along the tracks, making journeys extremely difficult for thousands of passengers. As a result, trains have been running late by 10 to 14 hours.
