Beef Found in Government Slaughterhouse Vehicle, Bhopal Mayor Vows Strict Action
Bhopal: The discovery of beef in a vehicle from Bhopal’s modern government-run slaughterhouse has triggered a political storm in the state capital. Reports confirmed that a container carrying 26 tons of meat, seized on December 17, included beef, sparking outrage across the city.
In response, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi issued a stern warning, saying, “No matter who is responsible, they will not be spared. Whether it is a small-time offender or a senior official, action will be taken, and justice will be served to the fullest extent.” He added that the slaughterhouse proposal had never been discussed in the council and that anyone attempting to protect those responsible would face strict consequences.
