Lions Club Vidisha Main Plants 51 Fruit-Bearing and Medicinal Saplings at Balaji Orchid Park

Lion Naresh Jain Honoured, Birthday of Lion Engineer Amit Sans Celebrated with Enthusiasm

With the objective of promoting environmental conservation and greenery, Lions Club Vidisha Main organized a grand tree plantation programme at the park located in Balaji Orchid Colony. During the programme, 51 fruit-bearing and medicinal saplings, including mango, arjun, and amla, were planted.

According to Lion Arun Kumar Soni, Multiple and District Co-Multimedia In-charge of the club, the programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Lions Club Vidisha Main President Lion B.P. Singh, with guidance from Environment In-charge MJF Lion Yogendra Singh Rana and Lions of Vidisha District Coordinator MJF Engineer Lion Ajay Sahu.

The programme was graced by the special presence of Lion Naresh Jain, colonizer of various Balaji colonies in Vidisha district, and MJF Lion Rajkumar Sarraf ‘Prince’, District Additional Cabinet Secretary and Director of Gold-Diamond Showroom.

Plantation of 51 Saplings and Honour of Social Contributors

During the event, a total of 51 fruit-bearing and medicinal plants were planted in the park premises. On this occasion, Treasurer Lion Pritam Singh Rai (Retired Military Personnel) welcomed and honoured Lion Naresh Jain by presenting him with a shawl, coconut, and garland.

The main attraction of the day’s programme was the birthday celebration of Lion Engineer Amit Sans. All office bearers, members, and colony residents welcomed him by presenting a scarf and garland at Balaji Orchid Garden and celebrated his birthday with great enthusiasm.

After the plantation programme, a refreshment and High-Tea arrangement was organized at the residence of the club treasurer. The successful execution of the programme was led by Treasurer Lion Pritam Singh Rai, while active club secretary Dr. Lion Aparna Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests and members at the conclusion of the event.

The plantation campaign witnessed the participation of Lion Vijay Sharma, Lion Babita Rai, Lion Santosh Singh Rajput, Lion Dr. Rahul Bhatt, Shambhu Shri Raghuvanshi, Narayan Singh Tomar, Nishank Jain, Prince Rai, and several dignitaries and club members, who planted saplings and took a pledge for their protection.
