Jain Acharya Ratnasen Surishwarji M.S. to Make Auspicious Chaturmas Entry in Pindwara After 35 Years

Pindwara (Bhupendra Parmar): A moment of immense joy and spiritual significance awaits the Jain community as Jain Acharya Shri Ratnasen Surishwarji M.S. is set to make his auspicious arrival in Pindwara, his birthplace, for the Chaturmas observance after a gap of nearly 35 years. The entire Jain Sangh and devotees are enthusiastically preparing to welcome the revered Acharya.

It is noteworthy that around 35 years ago, Acharya Shri, then in his Muni (monastic) stage, observed a memorable Chaturmas in Pindwara. Thereafter, he undertook extensive Pad Vihar (foot pilgrimage) across the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and several other regions, spreading the noble teachings of Jainism, non-violence, self-discipline, and spirituality.

This year marks the Golden Jubilee Year of Acharya Shri’s initiation into the life of asceticism (Sanyam Jeevan). Since embracing monastic life, this will be his 50th Chaturmas, making the occasion historically significant and spiritually special.

The Auspicious Chaturmas Entry Ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 19, at 8:30 a.m. A grand religious procession will commence from the Pindwara Municipal Office and pass through the town’s main roads before culminating at the Prem Suri Guru Mandir, where a grand religious assembly will be held.

During the assembly, Jain Acharya Shri Ratnasen Surishwarji M.S. will deliver an inspiring spiritual discourse, guiding devotees on the principles of Jain philosophy, discipline, and righteous living. On this sacred occasion, the grand release of his 276th Hindi book, “Chintan Ki Chandni” (Moonlight of Contemplation), will also take place.

Devotees from Mumbai, Surat, and many other cities, including natives of Pindwara living outside the town, are expected to participate in the celebrations. In addition, a large number of followers from various towns and villages across the Godwad region will also be present to seek the blessings of the revered Acharya.

To facilitate the participation of devotees, special bus services have been arranged from Bali, Falna, Sewari, Rani Railway Station, and Kankroli to Pindwara, ensuring convenient travel for those attending this historic and spiritually enriching occasion.
