The reality show ‘The 50’ on Colors has been grabbing attention since its premiere, thanks to its high-profile contestants and dramatic content. The show has witnessed daily conflicts and controversies, keeping audiences hooked. In the latest development, two contestants have been evicted following a shocking twist, while popular actor Karan Patel has reportedly quit the show.
Karan Patel, one of the show’s top contestants, decided to leave following a turbulent start. According to sources close to the channel, he was uncomfortable with the behavior of other contestants. “Karan had issues with the participants from day one. He was particularly upset with the altercation between Bigg Boss alumni Rajat Dalal and Digvijay Rathi, where a minor disagreement escalated into a physical fight. Karan was heard saying, ‘This is disturbing my mental peace, and I cannot stay in a place where violence erupts.’ He immediately announced, ‘I am leaving the show,’” said the source.
While it is still unclear whether he voluntarily left or was asked to leave, he has reportedly been off-set for the past two days. A member of the creative team hinted at the possibility of his return, saying, “Since he is a well-known face, he may come back later, giving him time to reconsider his sudden decision to quit.”
YouTuber Vansha Singh Evicted
Drama is nothing new in ‘The 50’. Earlier, Karan, along with other team captains, was involved in the first elimination. YouTuber Vansha Singh, who had allegedly trolled Karan and Prince, was evicted after contestants voted against her.
Two More Contestants Evicted
The latest episode saw 11 contestants in the danger zone, anxious about their continuation in the game. The safe contestants were given the power to vote out one participant. While all safe contestants cast their votes, in a surprising turn, ‘The Lion’ announced that Saurabh and Sumaira would be evicted, as they did not receive any votes in their favor.
Post-eviction, Saurabh questioned the other contestants about the lack of votes for him. Siddharth Bhardwaj responded, claiming that Saurabh and Sumaira were “good people” but aggressive personalities tend to get more priority on the show. Other contestants disagreed, calling the argument baseless.
