Barmer, Rajasthan: In a major milestone for India’s energy infrastructure, crude oil has reached Rajasthan’s high-tech Pachpadra Refinery for the first time. The crude was transported over 700 km from Mundra Port, Gujarat, through a dedicated pipeline, marking a significant step toward the refinery’s operational readiness. Following the successful trial, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the facility soon. The pipeline, designed to operate at 65°C to prevent crude from solidifying, underwent rigorous testing before oil transport. Approximately 21,000 kiloliters of water were pumped through it to detect and eliminate any technical flaws, ensuring safe and uninterrupted supply.
