Greater Noida, Nov 20, 2025: A major accident struck Nagla Hukum Singh village in Greater Noida on Wednesday when a three-storey under-construction house collapsed while shutters were being removed, killing one labourer and trapping several others under the debris. According to officials, more than 16 labourers and masons were working on the third floor around 11 a.m. when the entire structure suddenly crumbled. Rescue teams immediately rushed to the spot. Noida: The long-awaited Bhangel Elevated Road in Noida has been opened to vehicular movement on a trial basis, marking a key milestone in regional connectivity. Engineers conducted detailed inspections to identify and address technical issues before allowing traffic. The six-lane elevated stretch now permits vehicles to travel at a maximum speed of 60 km/h. Authorities are preparing a comprehensive traffic management plan for entry and exit points on the elevated corridor, which will soon be shared with the police department.
