Where Will Tej Pratap Yadav Move After Chura-Dahi Feast? Uncertainty Over His Next Residence
Patna: In Bihar’s political culture, the traditional chura-dahi feast held on Makar Sankranti carries deep symbolic significance, often marking new beginnings. This year, former minister and Jan Shakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav is hosting his first chura-dahi feast as the leader of a new political outfit—but at a government residence he is set to vacate.
The feast will be held at 26M, Strand Road, Patna, a government bungalow that was allotted to Tej Pratap Yadav during his tenure as an MLA. However, following his defeat in the 2025 Assembly elections from the Mahua seat, he is no longer entitled to the accommodation, raising questions about where he will reside after the event.
