The project, with an estimated cost of ₹314.20 crore, has received clearance from the state cabinet. The proposed Bihar Bhavan will be constructed at Elephinstone Estate, an area falling under the Mumbai Port Trust jurisdiction. Spread over approximately 0.68 acres, the high-rise structure will have a height of nearly 69 metres, including basement levels.
