“25 Bhairav Battalions, 15 Shaktibaan, 34 Divyastr” – India’s Unstoppable Plan Leaves China and Pakistan Alarmed
In the wake of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army is strengthening its combat capabilities with the induction of new elite units. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi announced the formation of the Bhairav Light Commando Battalion, Shaktibaan Regiment, Divyastr Artillery Regiment, and the Ashwini Platoon, a move aimed at enhancing India’s military power and keeping a close watch on terrorist camps across the Line of Control (LoC).
Expanding the Army’s Strike Force
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, General Dwivedi outlined the key steps to boost the Army’s operational capacity:
