Greater Noida, February 23, 2026: In a strict move aimed at maintaining cleanliness and discipline, the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) of Amrapali Centurian Park (Low Rise) in Greater Noida West has implemented a zero-tolerance policy against pet-related nuisance in common areas.
As per a resolution passed during the General Body Meeting (GBM), pet owners will be fined ₹1,000 if their dogs defecate or create filth in common spaces. Owners must also ensure immediate cleaning of the area.
Society of 600 Families Enforces Stricter Monitoring
According to AOA President Rajeev Kumar and Legal Advisor Amit Gupta, nearly 600 families reside in the low-rise complex. To strengthen surveillance, the society currently operates 190 CCTV cameras, with plans underway to increase the number to 300 to monitor all activities effectively.
The management has extended strict penalties beyond pet-related violations. Spitting pan or gutka in public areas, open urination, and damage to common property will attract fines ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹15,000.
Three Violations May Lead to Blacklisting
The AOA has announced that residents who repeat the same violation three times will be blacklisted. Additionally, their photographs may be circulated in society groups and displayed on public notice boards as a deterrent measure.
Addressing Parking Area Complaints
Residents had frequently complained about dogs tearing car covers and scratching vehicles in basement parking areas. In response, additional CCTV cameras will be installed in parking zones, and warning signboards have been placed across the premises.
Objective of the Zero-Tolerance Policy
Society management clarified that the strict measures aim to maintain hygiene, safety, and discipline within the residential complex, ensuring a better living environment for all residents.
The decision has sparked discussions among residents, with some welcoming the move for improved cleanliness, while others stress the importance of responsible pet ownership alongside balanced enforcement.
