Dehradun, February 3:A tragic bus accident occurred in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, when a Himachal Roadways bus carrying passengers fell into a gorge near Vikasnagar, claiming four lives and injuring more than 30 others. The bus, en route to Paonta Sahib via the Meens-Kwanu-Haripur route, left the Chaupal depot at around 6:30 AM. The accident reportedly happened around 10 AM near Sudoi Khad when the bus swerved to give way to a truck. The vehicle lost balance as the roadside embankment gave way, causing it to plunge into a deep gorge after overturning several times. Among the deceased are two men and two women.
