
New Delhi, February 3: A devastating road accident occurred early Monday morning on the Rajokri flyover in southwest Delhi, leaving a 23-year-old woman dead and two others injured, police reported.
According to authorities, a PCR call was received at 3:48 a.m., reporting a collision involving an SUV and a stationary truck. A police team promptly rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
The three individuals involved in the accident were immediately transported to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. Doctors at the hospital declared the young woman brought dead, while the other two victims are currently receiving medical treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the crash, including inquiries into the driver’s condition and whether any traffic rules were violated. Authorities have urged commuters to exercise caution, especially during early morning hours, to prevent such unfortunate incidents.
